Intermediate

We introduce the building blocks to great skiing, compare your current use of them and work out a plan to improve them that's unique to you! On this course, you will break through the intermediate plateau. You should be able to:

  • Ski blue and easy red runs in parallel

  • Control your speed and direction without using a snowplough

  • You can make short and long skidded turns

  • You can get up unaided if you fall

  • Able to ski non-stop for 3 hours

Advanced

You will be comfortable skiing most red runs but would like to improve your technique so that you can tackle changing snow conditions, steeper slopes, off-piste and bumps. You should be able to:

  • Ski all Red runs in parallel

  • Ski non-stop for 3 hours at 2,000m+ altitude

  • Had a go at skiing bumps

  • Link at 3 turns together off-piste

  • You can get up unaided if you fall

Expert

You will be happy skiing on any coloured runs and you are looking to get performance out of your skis like carving long turns and grippy short turns on steep slopes. Learn how to master a varied fall line descent in bump's fields and explore off-piste skiing and ski touring.

  • Ski Black runs in parallel confidently and in control

  • Ski non-stop for a half-day at 2,000+ m altitude

  • Ski a type of fall line descent in the bumps

  • Link at least 10 turns together off-piste
