♻️ Giving New Life to Old Gear: Up-cycling for the Mountains
At PEAK Snowsports, we’ve always believed in protecting the mountains we love, and now, we’re putting that belief into action with a new initiative that blends sustainability, creativity, and community impact.
Each season, our ski school uniforms serve us through snow, sun, and storms, but eventually, even the best gear reaches the end of its life on the slopes. Rather than letting these durable, weather-tested materials go to waste, we’re transforming them into something entirely new: a limited-edition collection of upcycled accessories, designed and handmade from our retired ski wear.
From wallets and messenger bags to bucket hats and beach bags, each item carries the story of seasons past, reimagined into a stylish and functional product you’ll be proud to carry.
We’ll be offering these one-of-a-kind pieces for sale online and at local hot spots throughout the Alps, with a % of profits donated to Montagne Verte - a nonprofit organisation championing environmental change in mountain communities.
This is more than a recycling project. It’s a creative circular economy initiative, keeping valuable materials in use, reducing textile waste, and directly supporting the future of our alpine environment.

Every year, thousands of uniforms from ski schools, outdoor adventure companies, and activity centres are discarded, many still functional, all with the potential to be reborn. Instead of sending these garments to the landfill, we’re upcycling them into brand-new products.
